Repeat Theft Suspect Arrested at Corral Centre While on Probation
On April 20th at 10:02 a.m., a store in the Corral Centre reported that a male suspect had just fled the premises carrying a reusable bag filled with unpaid merchandise, triggering the store’s alarm system. Police located and apprehended the suspect shortly afterward at a second store. The 43-year-old male was arrested and charged in connection with the theft of approximately $180 worth of goods from the initial incident. He was also charged for a prior theft at a grocery store in the Corral Centre, where he stole $220 worth of meat. Further investigation revealed the male was in breach of existing Undertaking and Probation Orders. He was arrested and taken into BPS detention cells to sober up and prevent further incidents. Once sober, he will be released on an Undertaking with a scheduled court date of June 11th, 2026.
