Westman Multicultural Festival Set to Bring Global Flavours and Traditions to Brandon
The Westman Multicultural Festival is returning to Brandon from February 6 to 8, 2026, celebrating the rich tapestry of cultures that make up the Westman community. Now in its 17th year, the festival promises three days of food, music, dance, and cultural exchange at pavilions throughout the city.
Organizers say the annual event will feature a variety of cultural pavilions showcasing traditions from around the world. Attendees can enjoy traditional cuisine, live performances, and displays highlighting the heritage of participating communities. Admission to all pavilions is free, though food, drinks, souvenirs, and other items will be available for purchase.
Among the groups participating this year include: Colombia, Nigeria, Palestine, El Salvador, Mexico, the Philippines, India, Scotland, Ukraine and more.
For those planning their visit in advance, the festival has launched an official website — https://globalpavilions.ca/— where you can find up-to-date information on participating pavilions, schedules, and locations across Brandon.
Organizers are encouraging residents and visitors alike to explore as many pavilions as possible and to embrace the spirit of cultural understanding and celebration. With activities suitable for all ages, the Westman Multicultural Festival continues to be one of Brandon’s most anticipated winter events, fostering community pride and global connection.
